Welcome to Family Bible Church. We are glad that you are taking the time to discover who we are as a community and a church. Family Bible Church is a community of people from all walks of life being shaped by Jesus every day. Community life is at the center of who we are and we believe that true life change comes through Christ centered relationships. These relationships shape our mission of “Reaching as many as possible, Developing fully committed followers, and Serving Christ and the world”. We are here to help those exploring faith and Jesus as well as believers to mature and strengthen their relationship with Jesus and others. It is our hope and prayer that you will never feel like a stranger at Family Bible Church.
Sundays at 9:00AM and 10:30AM.
The 9:00AM service has a intimate feel and a traditional flavor. During this gathering people join together to worship through hymns, sharing, prayer, and message.
The 10:30AM service has a contemporary feel. This gathering hears the same relevant message but is surrounded by video and worship lead by a full praise team and band.
The upcoming teaching schedule can be found by clicking HERE.
Services are held at 725 US HWY 27 N in Marshall, Michigan. Exit 110 from Interstate 94.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We understand walking into a church for the first time can be difficult. Therefore, we hope this information will be helpful! We encourage you to visit and experience one of our two Sunday morning services. Come as you are, dress comfortably, and grab a coffee from the coffee bar by the education wing on your way to service. Each service lasts for just over an hour and focuses upon two elements, an applicable message to your life from the Bible and also powerful worship.
MESSAGE-The Bible tells us faith comes by hearing of the Word of God (the Bible). We want to strengthen faith and therefore each week we hear a Biblically rooted message from the Word of God. Our sermons are all online. The upcoming teaching schedule can be found by clicking HERE. You can also listen or watch one HERE.
WORSHIP-Our worship is Jesus focused. We gather to worship Jesus our risen Savior. Worship is a time to prepare our hearth and mind to hear or the Word of God or respond to it. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. Check out some of our recent worship by watching the video below.
Throughout the week there are various Bible Studies, groups, and gatherings to be involved with when you choose. There are many great ways to grow, learn, engage, connect and serve at FBC.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN/NURSERY?
Creation Kingdom is the children’s experience at Family Bible Church. It is designed for children preschool through 5th grade. Your child will experience age appropriate teaching, music, and activities to help your child understand and develop a relationship with Jesus. All volunteers in Creation Kingdom have been screened and gone through training for your child’s safety and care. The volunteers are there to help, guide, and love on your child. All children are checked in and will be released only to the appointed person. We have staffed nurseries: infant, one year old, and toddlers (2-3 years old). Each of these nurseries are well staffed and the workers are trained and screened for the best care for your child.
Student Ministries is place for junior high and high school students to plug in at FBC. Trek for grades 6-8 and Uprising for grades 9-12. We truly believe that strong relationships lead us into spiritual growth and development, so everything we do is framed around the context of relationships. Whether it be through one of our events/experiences (retreats and trips), our Wednesday and Sunday night Group gatherings (games, music, and teaching), our Sunday Education Hour sessions (Bible teaching focus), or putting action to faith, our ultimate dream is to give every student we meet the relationships and skills needed to begin and develop a relationship with Jesus.
