Jesus tells his disciples in Matthew 28:18-20 that we should “make disciples.” At Family Bible Church we want to Reach, Develop, and Serve. Small groups are a key element in the “Develop” portion of our mission and this is through making disciples. This groups are intended to be gatherings outside of the church setting and church walls to develop people in an everyday setting. These environments provide opportunities where they can be filled with life in Christ.
The small group ministry is designed to help people grow in faith through a caring small group setting (6-10 people) which meet in homes and at the church throughout the week. The group encourages fellowship, worship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. Accountability and confidentiality are key ingredients.
Can I be made into a disciple simply by coming on Sunday morning? Sure, to an extent, but we all desire and need a smaller communities to be a part of and share life with. We believe that Small Groups are the best way for us to “make disciples”. Small Groups offer Accountability, Belonging and Care to our people as they meet regularly to discuss the various topics, studies, and apply the Word of God to their lives. We would love to help you get plugged in.
The groups meet at various times and location.
