Ways to Give

  • Cash/Recurring Gift

Contribute at a frequency that fits your budget: Weekly, Monthly, Annually, etc. This could also be a one time gift given at any time during the three-year campaign.

  • Catalyst Gift

A large financial gift to propel us toward our debt reduction. This could be in addition to your three-year pledge.

  • Gifts From Your IRA

If you are at least 70.5 years old, you may gift directly from your IRA via a qualified charitable donation (QCD) (a maximum of $108,000/yr). If you are 73 years old, you may also donate up to $108,000 via a QCD to assist with fulfilling your required minimum distribution (RMD).

This way to give allows you to make your desired contribution without the distribution being considered a taxable withdrawal. A withdrawal done in this fashion effectively lowers the donor’s adjusted gross income. A lower gross income may also aid in avoiding the potential of higher Medicare Part B premiums.

  • Gift of Real Property

Donating real estate or other property such as art or a vehicle held for more than one year to the church could allow you to leverage appreciated property to achieve maximum impact. Avoid significant capital gains and unlock additional tax savings by claiming the Fair Market Value of the Charitable Deduction for the tax year in which the gift is made.

  • Gift of Investments

Gift of Investments stocks, or other financial securities. When you donate stock held for 1+ year to the church, you will generally take a tax deduction for the Full Fair Market Value. Since you are donating stock, your contribution and tax deduction may instantly increase over 20% (current max capital gains rate). Since you are donating the stock prior to paying income tax, the donation is increased.

FAQs

  • Why are we doing another campaign?

We are called to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us. The addition to our church building was prayerfully undertaken to expand our ability to serve — to create more room for ministry, fellowship, outreach, and worship. While the initial campaign helped make that vision a reality, a portion of the cost was covered by debt to ensure construction could move forward.

This campaign is not simply to pay off a financial obligation, but to free ourselves from the weight of debt so we can fully invest in ministry and mission. This is an opportunity for us to come together in faith, generosity, and shared vision — to ensure that future resources go directly to reaching people, supporting our community, and advancing the Gospel.

  • How much money do we owe on the current loan and what is the percentage rate?

As of June 30, 2025 the balance of the mortgage is $1,384,680.78 at a 6.5% fixed rate for 20 years. If we were to continue to make the minimum payments of approximately $13,000/month, the loan would be paid off by June, 2038. As part of the effort to pay this debt, we have been able to pay 24 payments or ~$312,000 extra to the principal. These payments have now reduced the loan payoff date by roughly 6 years. If we are able to pay off our loan debt by 2030, we will save the church roughly $500,000 in interest and release us from the burden of debt ten years earlier than originally planned.

  • Has the congregation grown since opening the HUB, have we had more salvations and baptisms?

Yes, the congregation has grown significantly since the opening of the building. Attendance has increased by 40%, and volunteerism is up by 50%, in the past four years, showing greater engagement and involvement within the church community. Spiritually, we've seen a powerful movement—In the past four years we've seen 135 individuals have made decisions for Christ, and 85 people have followed that decision with baptism. These are incredible signs of growth and transformation.

  • What will we do if we’re successful in paying off the loan early?

First and foremost, if we’re able to pay off the loan early, we will give thanks to God for His provision and for the faithful generosity of His people. This would be a significant milestone — not only financially, but spiritually — as it frees us to follow His will and dream, discern, and move forward in ministry without the burden of debt.

There are other needs in our church, such as expanding the parking lot or possibly the sanctuary, but our desire is to move forward only as God leads. Paying off the loan is what we believe God is calling us to focus on right now. If we are successful, the next step will be a season of prayer and discernment. We don’t want to get ahead of God’s plan. Our commitment is to listen first, plan wisely, and respond in faith — just as we are doing now.

  • What remaining projects associated with the new build are left unfinished?

When the construction of the new building was approved we were unsure of the timeline for the playground and kitchen construction. Through God’s blessing, the financing for these delayed projects was authorized and now are vital areas used in ministry and mission of the church. One unfinished project that does remain is the courtyard. The vision of this space has been selected and money set aside but volunteers are needed to make this space usable.

  • What if we do not reach our goal of paying off the entire amount in this campaign?

While our goal is to eliminate the building debt entirely, we trust that God will provide through the faithful generosity of His people. If we do not reach the full amount during this campaign, every dollar given still makes a significant impact — reducing our financial burden, lowering interest payments, and freeing up more resources for ministry and outreach.  This campaign is not just about a number — it’s about faithful participation, unity, and stewardship. We will continue to seek God’s wisdom, explore responsible financial strategies, and remain committed to transparency and trust.
