Development, strengthening, and oversight of worship through music, design, technology, and all forms of media. A discipling pastoral heart is essential for the care of the local church body and surrounding community. This role is a team-focused role working closely with staff and volunteers to create God-honoring worship environments in-person, online, and spatially in the built environments. Participates on various church leadership teams and fully supports the vision and efforts of the church leadership incorporating the vision into their responsibilities. Located in Marshall, Michigan with an average Sunday worship gathering of 300.

JOB TYPE: Full Time (40 hours), Hybrid Work Environment (office, home, beyond), generally Sunday through Thursday but may change due to season or events. Willing and able to flex hours due to both personal/family and ministry needs/demands. Reports to Lead Pastor

MINISTRY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY #1: ALL THINGS WORSHIP: Create, develop, grow, and maintain a worship culture. Design spatial environments (stage design, common spaces) Plan, teach, lead and equip others to lead worship. Must be able to sing and play instruments.

MINISTRY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY #2: PASTORAL CARE: Intentional connection, discipleship, and care for congregants and community members

MINISTRY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY #3: ONLINE PRESENCE: Oversight of website, app, social media

MINISTRY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY #4: VOLUNTEER ON BOARDING, OVERSIGHT & DEVELOPMENT: Worship Teams (Traditional, Modern, Student, & Children) Tech Director/Producer & Tech Teams, Spacial Environment Design Team

CHARACTER, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE PART 1: Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a growing and active relationship. Loves Jesus and loves people. Biblically-centered. Able to teach and preach. Demonstrates the Fruit of the Spirit at home, work, and in community, living a life above reproach.

CHARACTER, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE PART 2: Able to connect with others on a professionally kind personal level and express pastoral care. Able to disciple those in the congregation and the community employing a Godly approach. Maintain a work calendar reflective of responsibilities and priorities. Develop and implement recruitment plans and training plans.

CHARACTER, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE PART 3: Enable the congregation to connect with Jesus through recruiting, developing, and managing a team of volunteers, leading worship vocally, instrumentally, and technologically. Technical understanding, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer (Mac and PC), audio, instrument, lighting, and livestream hardware and software in the sanctuary and throughout the church. Proficient with Planning Center, Proclaim, LightKey, Loop Community, and/or similar programs

ADDITIONAL CAPABILITIES REQUIRED: Must be able to utilize a computer keyboard, read from a computer monitor and utilize a variety of computer software.Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to climb ladders. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to cope with a number of varied and pressing priorities at any given time. Must be able to maintain Christian behaviors and attitudes when faced with difficult, argumentative or other challenging confrontations and conversations.

SALARY & BENEFITS: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year depending on experience, health insurance, paid time off, flexible schedule, retirement plan, flexible spending account, professional development assistance
