I grew up near Flint, Michigan, where my wife and I were “junior-high-school-sweethearts.” I was saved the first time I ever attended church, at 16 years old, and have felt a calling into ministry ever since.
In my last year of college (where I would graduate with a pre-law/history degree and had planned to become a lawyer), the Lord opened up a worship ministry internship at my home church at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, where I got my official taste of worship ministry. From there, my plans to become a lawyer completely changed, and I became the Worship Pastor at Encounter Church in Burton, Michigan in 2015. I would spend the next 8 years in worship ministry, in and out of youth ministry, and eventually becoming the Senior Pastor in 2018.
In 2023, the Lord called me, my wife Brooke, and our 1-year-old son, Cooper, to transition out of the Flint area and back into full time worship ministry. When God opened up the opportunity to interview at Family Bible Church, I was amazed at the overall “family” feel of FBC, the kindness of everyone I met, and the welcoming and loving arms my family experienced during each interview and visit.
I have a passion for worshipping the Lord in every aspect of life, and believe worship is so much more than just music and songs, but a lifestyle. I yearn to see the Holy Spirit work in and through each believer, transforming their lives until they truly “get it.” My hope is to utilize the gifts that God has given me to strengthen and further the depth of faith within the FBC community.”
